The History of Syrche

Sÿrche was settled in the year 1738 by the Lithani explorer Lincoln Lanceaster, who founded the City of Lanceastersire, on the South Eastern tip of the country.

Lanceaster was struck by the beauty he saw in the new land, and wished to use the area as a place to promote spirituality, freedom and non-agression. The name Syrche is derived from the Dåtsche word Syrkker, meaning to seek out.

A New Nation

In 1747 the Nation of Solavice, an Enormous War Machine with expendable units, invaded the Sovereign nation of Nÿe Matteis, A small country of fishermen and wheat farmers. What followed was a virtual bloodbath.

Word of the attack reached citizens of the neighboring Principality of Nÿe Ansleizn, who were shocked and horrified at what was happening.

Joliet Apernadth-Wilhelm, a local seamstress was instrumental in organizing the people to simply leave the country, rather than fight to their inevitable deaths.

“We have witnessed these atrocities, waged against neighboring nations, let us not fall to the same fate. Valor cannot validate the actions of those who are doomed to replicate the blunders of history." -Joliet Apernadth-Wilhelm.

Apernadth-Wilhelm had struck a nerve. Her followers numbered in the thousands. They banded together and headed West.

The Apernadth Group, as they would later be referred, traveled to the Ocean, and founded Syrche’s first Capital city of Wilktja, just 50 miles north of Lanceastersire.
